Job Description:
1. Assist Marketing & Communications Director to develop and implement strategic PR programs to achieve significant increases in brand awareness
2. Cultivate relationships with key business journalists in national and trade publications on/offline
3. Pitch stories to both national and local media. Achieve highest visibility for in print, broadcast, TV and online media outlets
4. Cultivate relationships with key chambers, industry associations and discover potential PR opportunities
5. Develop compelling story angles
6. Write clear and compelling pitch letters, press releases and promotional articles
7. Assist Marketing & Communications Director to organize corporate external and internal events or participate in industry events
8. Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet expectations
9. Proactively manage editorial calendars
10. Analyze and measure results of PR programs
