Job Description:
- Assist Marketing & Communications Director to develop and implement strategic PR programs to achieve significant increases in brand awareness.
- Cultivate relationships with key business journalists in national and trade publications on/offline.
- Pitch stories to both national and local media. Achieve highest visibility for in print, broadcast, TV and online media outlets.
- Cultivate relationships with key chambers, industry associations and discover potential PR opportunities.
- Develop compelling story angles.
- Write clear and compelling pitch letters, press releases and promotional articles.
- Assist Marketing & Communications Director to organize corporate external and internal events or participate in industry events.
- Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet expectations.
- Proactively manage editorial calendars.
- Analyze and measure results of PR programs.
Job Requirement:
- BA Degree or above, major in Marketing, PR, Chinese, English or Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language.
- At least 3 years relevant experience in public relations or marketing communications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English & Chinese.
- Solid writing skills (writing samples required upon receipt of resume).
- Proficiency with MS Office Apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- A strong-sense of teamwork and outgoing, creative and detail-oriented personality.
- Strong network and established relationships with national business and trade media contacts, government, chambers, industry associations, B2B.
- Work experience in professional service firm is preferential.
