Savills at the 2025 CoreNet Global Summit APAC Singapore: Key Highlights

Savills is the Gold Strategic Partner and was the Diamond Sponsor of the 2025 CoreNet Global Summit APAC Singapore, held from 4th to 6th March.

Representatives from Savills contributed to three key speaking engagements, addressing critical topics shaping the future of corporate real estate. Below are the highlights.

The Office as a Destination: What Can We Learn from Retailers?

Nick Bradstreet, Head of Retail, APAC at Savills, moderated a panel discussion titled The Office as a Destination: What Can We Learn from Retailers? He was joined by Nic Banks (Atelier Pacific), Chiara Scaglia (Zimmermann), Gavin Sung (67 Pall Mall), and Will Forwood (Head of Savills Projects, APAC at Savills).

The panel explored how retail brands have adopted innovative strategies to attract customers back to their stores post-pandemic. Key initiatives discussed included VIP-focused services and enhanced shop designs, which aim to create a relaxing and engaging environment. The discussion highlighted how customer experience is increasingly driven by emotional connection and the overall atmosphere, rather than the product alone.

The insights gained from retail were positioned as valuable lessons for office design. The panel emphasised that offices can also become destinations by reflecting a strong brand identity and fostering engagement and connection for employees, clients, and visitors. While an attractive environment is essential, it was agreed that leadership and the people within these spaces are pivotal in bringing them to life.

Key Insights from the CoreNet Global CRE 2030 Research Project on Portfolio Management

Adam Evennett, Head of Global Occupier Services, APAC at Savills, participated in a panel discussion that examined findings from CoreNet Global CRE 2030 research initiative.

This session focused on emerging trends in corporate real estate and strategies for aligning portfolio management with the evolving needs of workplaces. As sponsors of the Portfolio Management domain within this initiative, Savills played a key role in shaping conversations on how organisations can adapt their real estate strategies to remain relevant in a rapidly changing environment.

The panel shared actionable insights, highlighting the importance of adopting forward-thinking approaches to ensure real estate portfolios remain agile and effective in meeting future demands.

Women in CRE: Igniting Strength and Community

Savills hosted the Women in CRE: Igniting Strength and Community mentorship session during the summit. This initiative was led by Rita Kash, Valerie Chua, and Deana Ahmad from the APAC Global Occupier Services team. The session provided a platform for women in corporate real estate to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

The session saw an attendance of over 50 participants from diverse professional backgrounds. Discussions covered a range of topics, including career development, leadership growth, work-life balance, and overcoming challenges in the workplace.

This mentorship session created a valuable environment for collaboration and empowerment, reflecting the ongoing efforts to foster inclusion and support the growth of women across the corporate real estate sector.

Savills participation at the 2025 CoreNet Global Summit APAC Singapore underlines its commitment to thought leadership, industry collaboration, and advancing meaningful conversations in corporate real estate.
