Job Description:
- Be responsible for internal and external business development, including, but not limited to actively identifying, pursuing and successfully converting new project opportunities to grow the business.
- Be responsible for the management of the region’s P&L, including, but not limited to preparation of forecasts, budgets, and business plans as well as other required materials and information as requested by management, as well as taking responsibility for the achievement of personal and departmental targets.
- Assist in the preparation of, and independently development as required Project Management Services marketing materials.
- Understand your Client’s key project objectives for time, cost and quality.
- Be responsible for managing all aspects of the project from commission through design, tendering, construction, commissioning, practical completion, handover, defects liability and project close out.
- Implement the Project in accordance with Client signed off Project Control Documents.
- Provide local liaison, translation and language assistance services to the China Head of PMS.
- Ensure that communication is at all times clear, open and honest and conforming to the highest standards of integrity.
- Carry out all required assignments and tasks as designated by direct Managers.
- Attend and positively and professionally represent and advocate for the business at industry, chamber of commerce, and other functions, events, conferences, and internal meetings.
- Pro-actively lead the Project Team and drive successful project outcomes.
- Efficiently and effectively manage output and performance of subordinate staff.
Job Requirement:
- An undergraduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related construction focused design discipline.
- Prefer minimum 7 years’ experience in the real estate or building construction industry.
- Prefer minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing teams, project and P&L.
- The successful candidate should have competency in completing concept designs/test fits/initial space planning drawing documentation.
- Competency in using design software such as CAD or similar design software.
- Background knowledge of and competency in managing procurement and tendering activities.
- Background knowledge and understanding of applicable regulatory procedures, authorities and approvals.
- Working knowledge of the general contractual, legal and regulatory regime as it applies to the construction industry.
- Prefer background in Commercial Office and/or Retail project delivery.
- Good general construction and technical services understanding and proven abilities in multi-disciplinary liaison.
