The award, presented annually by the Scottish Agricultural Arbiters & Valuers Association (SAAVA), recognises the top‑performing Scottish candidate in the national exams of the CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers), the professional body representing nearly 3,000 agricultural valuers across the UK.
Kirsty’s win follows a strong tradition of Savills rural specialists in Scotland achieving this accolade. Previous Savills winners include Director George Hipwell (2015), Associate Emma Savage (2020, MCAVA Gavel), and most recently Charles Arden (Martin Hall Cup winner, 2024). Kirsty now becomes the latest member of the growing rural team to earn national recognition for outstanding professional achievement.
Based in the Savills Edinburgh office, Kirsty advises landowners and rural businesses across Scotland, supporting clients on valuation, management and strategic rural consultancy.
Hugo Struthers, Head of Savills Rural in Scotland, said: “Huge congratulations to Kirsty on this fantastic and well‑deserved achievement. The CAAV exams are rigorous, and securing the highest mark in Scotland reflects her dedication, hard work and professional talent. We are very proud to now count Kirsty among our award‑winning rural specialists, reinforcing the exceptional calibre of the team here in Scotland.”
Kirsty said: “I’m absolutely delighted to receive the Martin Hall Trophy. The support and guidance from colleagues across Savills has been invaluable, and I’m looking forward to putting these skills to work for our clients.”
