Savills Malaysia (SMG) is proud to announce a double triumph at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Southeast Asia Awards 2024, held on 23rd October at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. SMG achieved notable recognition awards in two prestigious categories: -
- RICS Property Professional of the Year 2024 (Individual @ Datuk Sr Paul Khong) and
- RICS Valuation Team of the Year 2024 (Team @ Savills (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd)
The highlight of the evening was the honor awarded to Datuk Sr Paul Khong, Savills Malaysia’s Group Managing Director, who was named RICS Property Professional of the Year.
This award recognizes Datuk Paul’s leadership and excellence in the property industry, celebrating his significant contributions to corporate estate agency, property management and valuations over the past year. His work exemplifies the highest standards of professional ethics and achievement.
The Valuation Team of the Year 2024 award further cements Savills Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s top position as a leader in the real estate industry.
With over 30 years of experience, Savills Malaysia’s Valuation Team consists of 10 Registered Valuers and a total staff force of around 250, with about 30 professionals in the Capital Valuation & Development (CVD) team, was led by Datuk Sr Paul and Sr Marcus Chia.
The team provides a range of expert services including valuations for IPOs, REITs, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, court proceedings, and sales & disposals valuations.
Having completed valuations exceeding RM200 billion, the team has completed several major projects such as TRX Exchange 106, Petronas Twin Towers 88 and Merdeka 118.
