Savills has further expanded its operations in the Caribbean with the opening of an office in Grand Cayman.
Located in the Caribbean Plaza in Grand Cayman’s exclusive Seven Mile Beach area, it is the first fully branded Savills office in the region and complements the firm’s existing network of associates and affiliated partners in Barbados, Grenada, British Virgin Islands, St Kitts, Bahamas, St Lucia and Antigua.
Savills Cayman will be lead by Paul Young, a seasoned residential and commercial real estate professional and long-term resident of the Cayman Islands. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Young has worked with some of the leading developers on Grand Cayman.
Rupert Sebag-Montefiore, head of global residential, Savills said, “Savills now has the best Caribbean network in the industry, and Grand Cayman is an important new recruit to our associate firms in the region.”
Paul Young, added: “We are delighted to open an office on Grand Cayman. The islands are poised for tremendous growth and were recently named ‘Caribbean Destination of the Year’ at the Caribbean Travel Awards. We look forward to supporting the luxury real estate market in Cayman working directly with buyers and sellers of best in class properties along with the islands developers. Our main goal at this stage is to create a flexible and sensible market strategy for the properties we represent while increasing the islands exposure through the extensive Savills global network of offices giving us access to affluent buyers and investors.”
