Savills signed letters of intent with Hongkong Land for WE City project in Chengdu on the fourth of December, 2013. Prime Minister David Cameron and his trade delegation witnessed the signing ceremony and laid the foundation stone for WE City. This has been the highest level foundation laying ceremony in the domestic property industry.
WE City is an extensive mixed-use development project in the prime area of Chengdu, earmarked as its new financial district. The project is being developed by Hongkong Land together with KWG Property Holding Limited (KWG). Savills is appointed to provide asset management services for the residential development and property management consultancy services for the commercial portion of the project.
