Savills has announced the promotion of Gianni Flammini as head of Savills Italy.
Flammini joined Savills on 1 March 2012 as director and head of its valuation team in Italy. He has over 16 years experience in real estate advisory having worked with CBRE Global Investors, ING Real Estate Investment Management and DTZ. His appointment will allow a repositioning of the business to focus on professional and consultancy services.
Borja Sierra, Savills CEO of Europe, says: “Gianni’s experience as an investor in Italy has proven extremely valuable to advise those clients who are currently actively in Italy and those who are prepared to come back. We anticipate that in a similar way to Ireland and Spain, Italy will continue to see investors becoming more acquisitive as further assets become available.”
Gianni Flammini adds: “As the opportunities in the market increase and demand returns from international as well as domestic investors, further repricing is anticipated and Savills remains well placed to advise clients on strategic decisions and current market values.”
