Savills has today (04 October 2013) announced that Anders Nyström will undertake the role of acting head of Sweden following the resignation of Ulf Nilsson who leaves to join Stendörren.
Nyström joined the firm in 2012 to head its Swedish property management team based in Stockholm and has 18 years experience in the real estate industry. He has already expanded the firms client base and integrated it with existing services such as leasing, investment, valuation and project management.
Having originally joined the company in 2005 through its acquisition of a majority shareholding in Tufvesson & Partners, Ulf Nilsson was appointed head of Savills Sweden operation in 2010 and also led the firm’s Swedish corporate finance team.
Borja Sierra, CEO of Savills Europe, says: “We wish Ulf the very best of luck in his new role and thank him for his leadership at Savills over the past few years. He has successfully grown the business and, in particular, augmented our investment and property management teams with strategic appointments. We are very pleased that Anders has agreed to step into the role and have no doubt he will do a great job of running the team.”
