Savills Amsterdam has recruited Arnout Huijg as a director for its retail team.

Arnout, who started on 15 November 2010, gained his retail expertise as a consultant at Healy & Baker and as a partner at Bessem & Partners before working as a freelance consultant focusing on retail developments and investments. In 2008 he was responsible for the set up of an international retail network in South Africa. He returned to the Netherlands in 2010 and ran his own firm, AH Vastgoed, where he specialised in retail leasing and investment.
